The zerg towers are generally less expensive then Terran or Protoss towers. They have their own unique towers that
can do plenty of interesting things.
The most basic zerg tower is the Zergling. It's very cheap with low damage and range but it attacks quick and can be
upgraded to attack four times per second. So you could imagine a big maze of these could be pretty effective.

The main zerg builder, the Larva, can also build the Drone, which is another zerg builder that can build Creep Colonies.
These are towers that can be upgraded into a ground attacking or air attacking tower.

When you reach the Lair level, your main building gains the ability to "Spawn Scourges" from a corpse. Scourges are flying
units that explode when they attack, and make great anti-air defense if you have enough ready.

If you plan on getting a lot of these, it's best to have multiple Lairs on the cliffs or in your maze next to where you
know a large pileup of enemy corpses will be. Drones can create additional hatcheries for this. When a lair is upgraded to
a hive, its mana capacity increases by 50, leaving the hive with more mana by the time another wave that scourges can be spawned
from comes.
Another technology you gain access to when you reach the Lair level is the Lurker upgrade, which allows your Hydralisks
to transform into Lurkers. Lurkers need to burrow to attack, and you don't need to research it for them to burrow. When burrowed,
enemies can walk over it and usually you can use this to your advantage when making a simple maze. But when making a more
complicated one, the AI occasionaly doesn't seem to like the idea of walking over it and may try a different path. They only
attack ground and do splash damage in a line.
Unfortunately it is no longer possible to build mass lurkers there for potentially obvious reasons.
Drones can build a Queen's Nest once you reach Lair level that allows you to get Queens which are spellcaster towers.
In addition to Ensnare, an Area of Effect slowing ability, they can also use this very nifty spell called "Spawn Broodlings".
Below is a simple explanation.

These "mini mobs" are broodlings. They are basically moving zerglings only with a weaker and slower attack. One of their
most useful features is their uncanny ability to screw around with the enemy AI.

The broodlings are in the enemy's way and while they might go and try a different path, you can if done properly trap
some enemy units. One way to do this is to have a broodling in the exit of your base (as shown above) and then have another
outside of it ready to run in and block off the other side, trapping whatever's caught inside the maze.
But be careful, sometimes the enemy may attack if you push them around a bit too much with this.
